They have chosen only to say yes to a new possibility for Mirafiori, to work and compete among the best. They chose to take charge of their destiny, take responsibility to make a historic breakthrough and become the creators of something new and important.
In a country like Italy, which has always been tied the past and unwilling to change, and yesterday's referendum, in part, has shown, the choice of those who voted yes was farsighted. It is the desire to do that is opposed to the resignation of decline. It is the courage to take a step forward against the inaction of those who speak only or wait for things to happen.
I've always been very proud of what he represents for Fiat Mirafiori, as guardian of the industrial tradition of our company and our country, and also for what has proven to do. Mirafiori and people who work there has not been made less attractive when, in 2004, there were many to prophesy the end and the plant closure. The plan for this plant is very ambitious. La maggioranza dei lavoratori di Mirafiori ha detto che vale sempre la pena di impegnarsi per costruire something better.
